Airstreams Everywhere, LLC is owned and operated by Frank and Debbie DiBona. We are a Limited Liability Corporation.
We bought our one and only Airstream in 2012. Since then we have crisscrossed the U.S. and Canada, making wonderful friends along the way. Our Airstream is a 2008 28 foot Safari. Her name is Diva. We have had almost no issues with Diva but have upgraded or replaced many things, including her tires, the hitch, Corian countertops, new flooring, new upholstering. Since Diva is our home for four or more months a year we wanted to make her like home.
Frank is a retired physician who practiced both pediatrics and nephrology. For the last half of his career, he gave up the pediatric aspect of his practice out of sheer exhaustion. The family lived in Aiken SC for over 30 years. Frank was the Medical Director of several outpatient dialysis units and started up and ran the inpatient dialysis unit at Aiken Regional Medical Center. At the hospital Frank also served as Chairman of the Intensive Care Committee, Chairman of the Department of Medicine, Chairman of the Executive Committee, and also was in the Board of Directors.
Debbie worked as the practice manager of Frank's practice. She graduated from Augusta College (now Augusta University) with a degree in Music, with an emphasis in Voice. She sang in multiple choirs. She performed in leading and supporting roles with The Aiken Community Playhouse, the Aiken Diabetes Association, The Aiken Kidney Benefit, The Augusta Opera, and with Da Capo Opera in New York City.
Frank and Debbie started and ran the Aiken Kidney Benefit, a charity that provided funds for people in the Aiken SC area with kidney disease. We provided funds that were not available from the government or other agencies. The AKB produced a Broadway-type show yearly for 15 productions. From these productions and other fundraisers, we netted over $500,000 for this cause. Frank directed two of the shows. Debbie performed in most of the shows. Her favorite roles were as Miss Hannigan in Annie, and Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. Frank and Debbie, as well as the AKB Board, produced all of the shows.
Frank was one of a dozen or so people who formed the Facebook group, Airstream Addicts, which now has 38,000 members, the largest group of its kind. On Airstream Addicts, Frank thrills, or often annoys, viewers with his "Mashups". In these mashups, he takes famous works of art, photographs, movies or television shows and stars and adds an Airstream or sometimes a bunch of them. You can find and join Airstream Addicts https://www.facebook.com/groups/AirstreamAddicts/
Airstreams Everywhere is our first venture into entrepreneurship. We hope you enjoy the products we have to offer. Everyone says this, but we mean it. We are not motivated by money. We will be happy to break even, but that was not what brought us here. We have had numerous requests for t-shirts, calendars, coffee table books etc. based on the mashups. This is our beginning. The thing that will mean the most to us will be running into Airstreamers on the road wearing one of our shirts or sipping morning coffee from one of our mugs.
